Dhaka, March 25 – Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus will address the nation at 7 PM on Tuesday, the Chief Adviser’s Office has confirmed. His speech will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and BTV World.
Dr Yunus assumed office as chief adviser on August 8, following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5 amid a student-led mass uprising.
With the nation preparing to celebrate Independence Day on March 26, his speech comes on the eve of the occasion, expected to touch upon key national issues.
Earlier in the day, Dr Yunus attended the Independence Award ceremony at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka, where he presented this year’s awards.
